I hope to do something similar with my dually. Kinda sucks it can't be a true dually in drag slicks but we'll just call it factory widebody and go from there. I personally want to stuff a 727 cubic inch sonny's racing engines hemi in my 1997 K3500, although I question what transmission will hold up to the abuse. Mught have to machine an adapter to go yo an e4OD, I don't want the 30 percent parasitic loss of an allison and I want more than three gears at minimum so I'm kinda limited to the E4OD, the 4L80E, or some fuckin dodge transmission I don't know. It wouldn't be as much of a drag truck because solid axle up front but I'm not going for a lot of lift so it should hold its own.
